*Keyshia Cole is preparing for the upcoming release of her final album and a biopic so she’s bringing back her gap-toothed smile.

The singer announced in February 2021 that she was at a dentist’s office and considering “opening up my gap back!”

Over a year later, it appears she has followed through with it as she revealed the return of the gap during an Instagram Live session shared by The Shade Room. See the IG video below.

“I don’t know why it’s funny to me that Keyshia Cole got her gap back lmao. Like why reverse it if you already fixed it?” one person on Twitter asked, MadameNoire reports.

“So Keyshia Cole really got her gap back after she got veeners?” another social media questioned, via Madame Noire. “Well that gap better start singing like the orange hair Keyshia.”

Cole told The Shade Room that she brought back the gap because she’s playing herself after the age of 25 in her upcoming biopic that starts filming in December.

“I’m getting in character, we start filming in Oakland on the 1st of next month,” she stated.

“I was already contemplating on getting it before the movie came about, but now that we’re filming, I decided to make that jump,” Cole said of the gap.

When Cole dropped her hit single “I Should’ve Cheated” in 2005, she was gap-tooted but closed it a few years later. The R&B songstress told The Shade room that at the time, she thought her teeth were too small for a “full grown woman” so he “just wanted to perfect what she didn’t like” about her teeth.
