*R&B singer KEM is preparing to welcome another addition to his family.
The 58-year-old superstar shared exclusively with PEOPLE that he and his wife, Erica Owens, are expecting their fifth child together—bringing KEM’s total number of children to eight. The couple previously welcomed four children, and both have children from past relationships: KEM has two daughters, while Erica has one.
“Being a husband and a father continues to be the greatest blessing of my life,” said KEM, who married Owens in 2019.

Owens also spoke with PEOPLE about the gratitude she feels for her journey. “Motherhood has been such a meaningful journey for me, and I’m grateful,” she says.
“Erica and I are looking forward to welcoming another little miracle into our growing family,” KEM shares, with Owens emphasizing the love that fills their home. “My husband and I are excited for this next chapter,” she tells PEOPLE.
“Our family is already full of love for this little blessing,” Owens added.
The couple says they are eagerly anticipating this next chapter in their lives. Fans and followers online have joined in celebrating KEM and his growing family.
