*Porsha Williams’ rumored boyfriend, Jonathan Dupitin finds himself at the center of a federal investigation.
The indictment, unsealed in February 2025, accuses Dupitin of orchestrating a multi-state fraud scheme involving Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans and unemployment claims, allegedly defrauding $10 million in COVID-19 relief funds, according to Media Take Out. If convicted, he could face years in prison, substantial fines, and restitution.
Dupitin first gained attention during Williams’ contentious split from Simon Guobadia, with rumors swirling that he was her “side piece.” Guobadia reportedly messaged Dupitin to confront him about the alleged affair, but instead of a discreet response, Dupitin aired the drama on his podcast, declaring, “Don’t be mad at me because I’m gonna be a [expletive] and hit. Be mad at her.” He doubled down, advising men to “keep their girl on a leash” to prevent infidelity.
After her divorce, Williams was frequently spotted with Dupitin, with sources telling Media Take Out they had been “definitely dating” for months. However, this latest legal trouble shifts the spotlight to Dupitin’s alleged criminal activities, which federal prosecutors claim exploited pandemic relief programs designed to aid struggling businesses and individuals.
As the case progresses, all eyes are on whether Williams — fresh from her legal battles with Guobadia — will distance herself from Dupitin.
