*Comedian Gary Owen is officially married after tying the knot with Brianna Johnson during a lavish celebration in Houston. The couple exchanged vows on Saturday, March 7, hosting their ceremony and reception at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston.
PEOPLE reports that the wedding followed an ultra-elegant black-and-white theme and welcomed around 170 guests. The upscale event featured a champagne tower, caviar service, an interactive espresso martini ice luge, and live music.
“We wanted the wedding ceremony and reception to be dramatic, memorable, and ultimately fun,” the couple shared with PEOPLE. “We intentionally steered away from a traditional, overly formal ceremony format, wanting the entire experience to feel lively and celebratory from beginning to end.”
Several of Owen’s “Think Like a Man” and “Think Like a Man Too” costars stood beside him as groomsmen, including Terrence J, Romany Malco, Jerry Ferrara, Michael Ealy and Will Packer. Other guests included Paris Johnson Jr., Andre Johnson, Russell Peters, Luenell, Bun B, Rocsi Diaz, Nate Jackson, Tim Story, Heather Packer and Shayla Cowan, while Chad Johnson officiated the ceremony.

One of the most personal touches came when Johnson’s 92-year-old grandmother participated as the ceremony’s “flower gram.” The couple chose to host the wedding in Houston partly so she could attend and take part in the celebration.
Johnson later reflected on what the marriage represents for her. “For me, marriage represents a lifelong commitment to grow together, support one another, and share every chapter side by side,” she said. “It also means the joining of our families — blending traditions, memories, and relationships into one united family moving forward.”
Owen shared similar sentiments about their partnership. “Being married means this is the person I want to share my life with—the good, the bad, the happy, the sad. No matter what, we are going to figure out things together,” he said.
Owen proposed to Johnson on Oct. 3, 2022 and the couple welcomed twin sons on July 14, 2023. The newlyweds plan to take a formal honeymoon later this summer following his tour.
