The non-profit organization (established during the Covid epidemic era) has been lending a helping hand… investing time and hundreds of thousands of dollars into the Southern California community—providing grants to local non-profit businesses and others in need, along with giving scholarships to college students.
The total health of our communities is the priority of CCG, INC. And that “health” takes on many forms, whether it’s securing the health of small businesses or the actual physical and mental health of those doing their best to live their best lives day-to-day. Oftentimes, it’s the so-called smaller things that make for a healthier life…mentally, spiritually, and physically.
These are the holidays, yet many folks are being forgotten and bypassed. Homelessness is at an all-time high. So, if someone is homeless or struggling to maintain a roof over their family’s head, a haircut may be the very last thing on the mind of the man of the house. Yet, such a small thing can do wonders for self-esteem. And CCG, INC. certainly hopes to increase the esteem of so many going through hard times.
Not only has the non-profit recently provided free mental health counseling for Black men, but during this holiday season, CCG, Inc. is offering free haircuts—this, too, in an effort to help increase the esteem of Black men, empowering them to walk tall, achieve heartfelt goals, and see their true greatness … within—and on the outside.
