*In recent weeks, speculation about the health of President-elect Donald Trump has reached a fever pitch online. Observers have noted concerning signs in photographs, including what appear to be severe bruises on Trump’s hands, leading to fears around possible serious health issues such as cardio-vascular, stroke, or even terminal cancer.
Anonymous sources have implied that Trump may be undergoing cancer treatments intravenously at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, which has only heightened concerns. Notably, an ambulance was part of his motorcade during a visit from Republican Senator JD Vance, further fueling speculation.
Despite mounting rumors and public concern, official reports as of November 30, 2024, indicate that Trump, aged 78, is in “excellent” health, according to The Healthy and other outlets.
His personal physician, Dr. Bruce Aronwald, has stated that both routine physical and cognitive examinations produced results well within normal limits, characterizing Trump’s cognitive functions as “exceptional.”
This statement has been met with skepticism from some quarters, particularly given the visual evidence that has sparked online chatter.

Social media reactions have varied widely. One user on X remarked, “It would also explain why he has been so absent and hardly seen for much of the campaign trail and afterward. With sources saying he gets fatigued by the treatments, he gives fewer public appearances.” Others chimed in with criticism, asserting, “This man is not fit to do the job. Harris was right; no 80-year-old should be President of the USA; it is a very demanding job.”
Trump’s use of medication has also drawn scrutiny. While there has been no recent information suggesting that he is being prescribed blood thinners, speculation remains. In 2020, during his COVID-19 treatment, he was given various medications, including aspirin, known for its blood-thinning properties. However, current details regarding his medication regimen have not been publicly disclosed.
Dietary habits are another point of discussion. Reports have indicated that both his wife, Melania Trump, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the newly appointed head of the Department of Health and Human Services, have been encouraging him to adopt a healthier diet, moving away from fast food in favor of more nutritious options. This shift in dietary habits aims to bolster his overall well-being.
Though many are casting doubt on Trump’s fitness for office, the official narrative remains that he is in good health. Nevertheless, ongoing speculations and mixed signals from his public appearances continue to draw attention, leaving many to ponder the true state of his health as he approaches another term in office.
