*Fitness influencer Darryl “BullyJuice” Williams is trading online content creation for extreme physical challenges in Prime Video’s new reality competition “Trainer Games.”
The six-episode series, hosted by Emmy Award-winning Amanda Kloots, features 10 elite competitors battling for a $250,000 contract and a coveted position on iFIT’s world-class trainer team.
Williams, who boasts over 3 million followers, specializes in functional strength training—a skill set that proved essential for the demanding competition filmed in Mauritius. “The competition itself was all about being functional,” he explains. “You had to be functional to get past these different challenges.”
While the fitness pro didn’t question his decision to compete, he admits the experience exceeded expectations: “There were some moments where I was like, wow, this is a little bit more than I thought.”
The series, executive produced by Nick Rigg and showrunner Fred Pichel, pushes contestants through grueling physical tests of strength, agility, and stamina. Williams drew heavily on his military background to navigate the unpredictable challenges.
“That discipline that I developed over the years of being in the military, getting out of the military, still having those different attributes that are a part of my life, I was able to maintain course, no matter how I felt,” he shares.
The competition proved transformative for the dad and community builder, offering fresh perspectives despite his extensive fitness background.
“It can be humbling when you come across different challenges, things that you may not have done, and then you overcome these different things,” Williams reflects. He’s already incorporating lessons learned—particularly long-distance running—into his training routines after meeting ultra-marathon athletes during filming.

Williams hopes viewers recognize one crucial message from watching him compete: “Even when things aren’t going your way, even when it’s not a perfect scenario, you can persevere, you can push through, and you can’t come out the other side a better person.”
“Trainer Games” premiered on Prime Video on January 8 and is included with a Prime membership. Contestants who fail to complete challenges or finish last face elimination until one remains standing as fitness’s next superstar.
