*We spoke to the talented cast of “Tough Love: Atlanta,” now airing its highly anticipated second season on Cleo TV.
The hit series stars Anissa LaShay, Leslie Sheri, Julian Horton, DaSan Frazier, Kadeem Isaiah, Alisha S. Ward, and Ashanti Harris, who bring dynamic performances to this drama that explores the complex relationships, challenges, and triumphs of young professionals navigating love and life in Atlanta. The Daytime Emmy Award-nominated series was created by the visionary husband and wife creative team of Roni and Caleb Davis.
Here’s the official synopsis: In the second season of “Tough Love, Atlanta” the repercussions of former fellowship advisor Jason’s actions continue to haunt the lives of Jackie, Iesha, Lisa, Drew and Kenny. After Jason’s imprisonment for PPP loan fraud, the looming debt he also incurred from an angry criminal becomes a serious threat. The criminal not only demands repayment but also blackmails the group with dark secrets he’s discovered about each of them, forcing them to engage in illegal activities to settle the debt. As their friendships are tested and their moral compasses are challenged, all five find themselves on a dangerous journey, as they simultaneously try to regain control of their toxic love lives.

The latest episodes of “Tough Love: Atlanta” will air on CLEO TV on Thursdays at 9 PM/8 PM Central and on TV One on Tuesdays. Per the news release, tonight’s episode is sure to spark conversations you won’t want to miss! Quentin urges Lisa to sever her relationship with Drew, while Jackie devises a profitable scheme to retaliate against Will. Meanwhile, tensions escalate when Lisa and Jackie attend Princess’ show, igniting a heated confrontation and deepening Princess’s suspicions about Kenny.

“With this season… it’s a little bit of everything in there from toxic relationships to social media relationships to…a guy messing with a married woman to an artist messing with the manager versus the scamming that’s going on. Everything is very Atlanta-esque,” Lesli teased.
Meanhile, Kadeem delved into the complexity of his character, Kenny, who finds himself “juggling two women” amid this season’s drama.
“I think it’s very toxic of him to see if that flame is still sparked with his old situation while dealing with a woman who’s very into him. He’s genuinely into her. I think it’s toxic to mix business with pleasure,” he explained. “I think he should let the relationship, a genuine friendship between himself and Princess, grow and see where that could lead versus episode one. We see them kissing on set. He’s also her manager. I think that’s toxic. As a businessman, I don’t think that’s smart. But that’s Kenny. Kenny gonna do what he do.”
Kadeem continued, “…he’s with another man’s wife, Jackie, even though he has another situation. So it’s layers of toxicity to Kenny, layers.”
