*Cardi B has reached a settlement agreement with blogger Tasha K in connection with the defamation lawsuit that resulted in a $4 million judgment.
As part of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy repayment plan, Tasha K will pay Cardi B nearly $1.2 million over five years in monthly installments, Complex reports. The payments will begin at $176,532 in the first year and gradually increase to $318,653 by the fifth year.
The agreement also includes a clause prohibiting the popular YouTuber from making defamatory statements about the rapper or her family on any platform, including social media and podcasts. However, Cardi retains the right to pursue the remaining balance of the judgment after five years.
“Today marks the end of a multi-year long chapter of lies, deception, and fraudulent conveyance on the part of Tasha K, her husband, and their entities,” said Cardi’s lawyer, Lisa Moore, in a statement.
“We are thrilled to put in place such an incredibly unprecedented and protective plan for Cardi. I assume you will see the debtor and her swill counsel selling this as a win,” she added. “Trust me, for all of the reasons in the plan we insisted on to protect our client, that is not the case. We don’t believe the false tears, and we protect against them.”

Cardi filed the defamation lawsuit in 2019 after Tasha K falsely accused her of having herpes, using cocaine, and being a prostitute. The claims deeply affected Cardi, leading her to testify in 2022 about the emotional toll it took, including suicidal thoughts and strain on her personal relationships.
In the years following Cardi’s big win in the case, Tasha K has faced scrutiny over accusations of attempting to conceal assets during the bankruptcy process.
According to reports, the payment plan depends on Tasha’s future earnings, including income from her husband’s company, Yelen Entertainment.
