*Burger King is expanding its iconic Whopper lineup with a bold new addition: the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper.
The new menu item hit restaurants nationwide on March 6, and draws inspiration from classic steakhouse flavors. The Steakhouse Bacon Whopper was developed in response to customer demand.
This new take on the Whopper is packed with rich, savory ingredients. It features A.1. sauce, crispy onions, smoky bacon, Swiss cheese, creamy peppercorn aioli, lettuce, and tomato, all layered on Burger King’s signature flame-grilled beef patty.
The launch follows last year’s Million Dollar Whopper Contest, where Burger King encouraged fans to customize their dream Whopper. As a result, the brand introduced three unique flavors in September: Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper, and Mexican Street Corn Whopper. The Steakhouse Bacon Whopper now joins this lineup, giving fans yet another flavorful twist on the fast-food staple.
Burger King has long encouraged personalization with its “Have It Your Way” slogan, and this latest release shows they’re listening to their customers more than ever.
