During an interview on the talk show Sherri, longtime Shark Barbara Corcoran praised Hart for his business acumen and quick thinking.
Corcoran described Hart as a “walking computer,” highlighting his ability to calculate numbers faster than fellow Shark Mark Cuban during intense negotiations.
“He was smarter than all the sharks put together,” Corcoran said, Market Realist reports.
“He’s a genius. Don’t underestimate this man. I have never met a smarter businessman in my life,” she added.
Hart called his “Shark Tank” experience “amazing” during an interview with ABC’s Christopher Willard.
“You’re looking at some of the most influential people in business today, and they not only have made successes for themselves throughout their career, you’re looking at a television show that’s been around for 13 seasons,” he said.
Hart said the best business advice he ever got was to “never try to be the smartest person in the room.”
In related news, Hart’s Hartbeat production company and Robin Roberts’ Rock’n Robin have teamed to executive produce the New Orleans documentary “A King Like Me for Highly” for Flammable Productions.
The doc centers on “Zulu Krewea, a Louisiana cultural organization of over 800 Black men, who lost 16 members of their members to COVID-19 following 2020 Mardi Gras,” per THR.
The film explores the impact of the pandemic on this stalwart cultural organization,” the news release states, “and what that loss tells us about the United States health inequities, as tied to race.”
“We are so thrilled to have Hartbeat and Rock’n Robin Robin join us on this project,” said producer Fisher Stevens. “We are so grateful to have their support in shining a light on the history and importance of Black culture during Mardi Gras and helping illuminate the stories of determination, perseverance and community within the Zulu Club.”
Director Matthew Henderson added, “I cannot tell you how empowering it is to have the support of Hartbeat and Rock’n Robin on this film,” adding that the doc “celebrates the intricacies and nuance of the Black experience in America.”
