*Apple TV has dropped the official trailer for season three of “Silo,” offering fans of the acclaimed science-fiction drama their first major glimpse at the show’s next chapter.
The series, based on Hugh Howey’s novels “Wool,” “Shift,” and “Dust,” has become one of the streaming platform’s most successful genre offerings. Set in a future where the last 10,000 people on Earth live inside a massive underground structure, the story follows engineer Juliette Nichols as she attempts to uncover the secrets hidden within the silo’s walls.
The new season arrives as the series moves closer to its planned ending. Apple TV has already confirmed that “Silo” will conclude with a fourth season, allowing the adaptation to tell the complete story from Howey’s trilogy.

Creator Graham Yost expressed enthusiasm about bringing the saga to its conclusion, saying, “It has been a richly rewarding experience to adapt Hugh’s epic novels with our partners at Apple and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this complete story to the screen over the course of four seasons.”
Yost also promised answers for longtime viewers, stating that the final two seasons will provide “an incredibly satisfying conclusion to the many mysteries and unanswered questions contained within the walls of these silos.”
Rebecca Ferguson, who stars as Juliette Nichols and also serves as an executive producer, shared similar excitement about the remaining episodes. “I’ve loved every minute of bringing Juliette to the screen and am immensely proud of what we’ve all created with ‘Silo,’” Ferguson said.
She added, “Alongside our partners at Apple, Graham, and the entire cast and crew, I cannot wait to dive into these final two thought-provoking seasons that will beautifully conclude this dystopian tale.”
The ensemble cast includes Tim Robbins, Common, Steve Zahn, Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Harriet Walter, and several returning performers. According to Apple TV programming chief Matt Cherniss, Seasons 3 and 4 will complete Juliette’s journey and finish adapting Howey’s trilogy.
“Silo” Season 3 premieres July 3, 2026, on Apple TV. The third and fourth seasons were filmed back-to-back, with the final season potentially arriving in 2027.
