*Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for “My Brother the Minotaur,” an animated kids and family series set to make its global debut on Friday, April 24. The project brings together two celebrated names in animation, Academy Award-nominated studio Cartoon Saloon and award-winning children’s media company Dog Ears.
Per the news release, the series follows a young minotaur, half boy and half bull, who was discovered and raised in the human world. Alongside his fiercely loyal human brother, he assembles a daring group of friends on a mission to piece together the mystery of his origins, claim his destiny, and stand against dark forces intent on stopping him. The show weaves together folklore, mystery, and mythic adventure while exploring themes of identity, belonging, and the bonds formed with those who truly understand you. Watch the trailer above.

A standout voice cast brings the world to life, led by rising talents Ely Solan, Billy Jenkins, Luciana Akpobaro, and Billie Boullet. They are joined by a seasoned ensemble that includes Michael Sheen, Brian Cox, Paul Kaye, and T’Nia Miller.
Behind the scenes, Gerry Shirren and Fionnuala Deane serve as executive producers, with John McDaid, Nora Twomey, Tomm Moore, Paul Young, and Nuria Blanco producing. Donal Mangan created the series, Mark Hodkinson wrote it, and Maurice Joyce directs.
With its richly imagined world and emotionally grounded storytelling, “My Brother the Minotaur” looks to carry on the tradition of character-driven animation that has made both Cartoon Saloon and Dog Ears stand out in the genre.
