*A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown in connection with a shooting that took place in Miami last month.
The Miami-Dade County authorities are charging Brown with attempted murder using a firearm, The Washington Post reports. The charges stem from a May 16 altercation outside a boxing event hosted by Adin Ross. Video footage circulating online shows Brown involved in a fight with several men, with other clips allegedly showing him holding a firearm as shots are heard. Witnesses at the scene reportedly identified Brown as the shooter.
Investigators recovered shell casings and an empty gun holster. Footage cited in the arrest warrant allegedly shows Brown punching a man, grabbing a security officer’s gun, and moving toward the individual he had struck. Two shots are heard in the video as the target ducks.
Following the incident, Brown appeared on Adin Ross’ livestream. “You can’t take him down! You can’t take down AB!” Ross exclaimed.
Brown denied being arrested on social media, writing: “I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me,” he wrote. “Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.”

Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu later came forward, claiming Brown shot at him during the incident, stating, “He shot at me twice… Police out there, bro!”
The warrant, signed on June 11, outlines conditions for Brown’s release, including a $10,000 bond and house arrest.
Meanwhile, Brown ignited a separate controversy by posting a message on social media claiming, “I had sex wit ur wife Gavin,” referring to California Governor Gavin Newsom, Daily Mail reports.
Brown followed up with additional vulgar posts targeting Newsom’s wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. No evidence supports Brown’s statements.
