*Angel Reese has turned internet mockery into a bold new movement to fight cyberbullying.
As Revolt TV reports, the Chicago Sky star launched her “MeBounds” merchandise collection this week, using a viral dig as fuel for positive change. The drop includes hoodies, t-shirts, trucker hats, and a beanie featuring the now-infamous phrase. The collection arrives days after Reese made history as the second-youngest player in WNBA history to post a triple-double.
Profits from the new apparel will support the Angel C. Reese Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering girls and young women. “A portion of all proceeds will go directly to the Angel C. Reese Foundation to help fight cyberbullying, raise awareness, and create safe online spaces for the next generation. Because every rebound — and every MeBound — is power reclaimed,” the foundation shared in a post on Instagram.
The phrase “MeBounds” was originally used to mock Reese, with critics pointing out that some of her rebounds came from her own missed shots. Instead of taking offense, Reese took action and ownership.
“Whoever came up with the MeBounds thing, y’all ate that up because MeBounds, rebounds… anything that comes off that board, it’s mine. It’s mine. And a brand? That’s six figures right there. Whoever came up with that, the trolling, I love when y’all do it ‘cause the ideas be good,” she said in a TikTok video. As one fan commented, “This is how you take back your power.”

The collection’s release follows her June 15 performance against the Connecticut Sun, where the 23-year-old recorded 11 points, 11 assists, and 13 rebounds. That stat line solidified her place in WNBA history and emphasized the perfect timing of her merch debut.
In 2024, Reese extended her partnership with Reebok, which began in October 2023 when she, as an LSU athlete, became Reebok’s first long-term name, image, and likeness (NIL) signee, according to PEOPLE. While deal details remain undisclosed, Reebok confirmed Reese’s signature sneaker will launch in 2026.
Per ESPN, Reebok’s head of basketball Jide Osifeso said, “Reebok and Angel are growing together every day and our visions for the future are aligned. We’re excited to continue the relationship with a ground-up build of her signature silhouette.”
Reese discussed the shoe with Shaquille O’Neal, the president of Reebok Basketball, on her Unapologetically Angel podcast. “I’m extremely excited to let you guys know that we are officially coming out with a Reebok by Angel signature shoe,” she said on the show.
