*Amber Rose is speaking out about her ex, Kanye West (AKA Ye), and his impact on his current wife, Bianca Censori’s, provocative style.
In a recent interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, Rose, who dated Ye from 2008 to 2010, shared her concerns about West and his controversial actions in recent years. Rose noted that she witnessed both his “good side” and the darker behavior fueled by people around him.
“When he surrounds himself with people that just feed the dark side of him, he’s not living at his full potential,” Rose explained, Complex reports. “So I feel bad when I see things that he does sometimes and I’m like, you don’t have somebody around you that’s maternal in a way that’s gonna sit you down, and love on you, and get you to do the right things, you know?”
Rose further elaborated, “I think that he has enablers around him that don’t actually care about him.”

Rose speculated that West’s current circle might be feeding into his more negative tendencies.
Reflecting on her relationship with the rapper, the ex-stripper and founder of ‘Amber Rose SlutWalk’ spoke candidly about how Ye influenced her fashion choices during their time together. She claimed the hip-hop star has consistently pushed his partners, including Censori, to wear more revealing outfits.
“Kanye is for sure dressing her like that,” Rose said. “He did the same thing to me and Kim [Kardashian].”
Rose also shared that West wanted to ensure his girlfriends were seen as the most desirable woman in any room they entered.
“He wants all his friends to wanna f**k his girlfriend. He wants everybody that—when you walk in a room that his girlfriend or wife is the most desirable in the room.”
Rose admitted to sometimes rebelling against his requests to wear revealing clothes by choosing his baggy outfits instead.
“Now if you look at old pictures of me when I’m dating Kanye but [I was] out by myself? I have all his clothes on. I have baggy jeans on, t-shirt, big ass jacket. I raided his closet. When he wasn’t home, I would wear all his stuff because I used to hate to dress like a whore basically,” Rose confessed. “I used to hate it, so I used to rebel when he wasn’t home and I would go in his closet.”
Rose recalled the time West insisted she wear a see-through dress during a trip to Europe. Despite her objections, she wore the outfit, and the backlash from the public on the internet was intense.
“I remember crying and arguing with him and being like, I don’t wanna wear this f**king sh*t. I don’t wanna wear it.” She mimicked his response, “‘You don’t understand! This fashion, ta ta ta, I’m a genius,’” Rose said, imitating West’s typical defense.
Despite her discomfort, she eventually gave in to his demands.
“You know how he is. And it’s like, ‘OK, I still don’t wanna wear it.’ But I wound up wearing it. They ate me up on the internet,” Rose said.
