*The nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards have been officially announced, covering all 95 categories and highlighting some of music’s biggest stars.
22-time Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar leads this year’s nominations with nine nods, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Lady Gaga also received major recognition, earning seven nominations for her latest album, “Mayhem.” The hitmaker’s career totals now include 45 Grammy nominations and 14 wins.
The announcement of nominees was made Friday morning (Nov. 7) with the help of notable presenters, including Sabrina Carpenter, Jon Batiste, Nicole Scherzinger, CeCe Winans, Doechii, Lizzo, and Gayle King. Watch the clip below.

The 2026 Grammys are introducing two new categories: Best Album Cover and Best Traditional Country Album. The existing Best Country Album category has been renamed Best Contemporary Country Album, creating a clear distinction between modern and traditional approaches within the genre.
