*Reesa Teesa, the TikToker who gained viral fame with her 52-part series “Who TF Did I Marry?!?”, in which she exposed her “pathological liar” ex-husband, is now searching for love after a whirlwind year in the spotlight.
The 39-year-old shared the story of dating, marrying, and divorcing a man she referred to as Legion, whom she described as a compulsive liar. Her 50-part video series led to a deal with CAA, a TV show based on her experience, and recognition as one of People’s 2024 Creators of the Year.
TMZ reports that the Creative Arts Agency signed Reesa, whose real name is Tareasa Johnson, after her “Who TF Did I Marry?!?” TikTok videos reached 400 million impressions in three weeks. As we reported earlier, the series was picked up by mainstream outlets such as the Washington Post, Rolling Stone, and Time magazine.
“It has been a crazy, surreal journey for sure… life is just completely different,” she told PEOPLE. “You don’t realize how big social media is until you’re in New York City and people know who you are. It’s like, ‘Wow, the reach is far bigger than what you could have imagined.’”

Despite her bad experience with her ex Legion, Reesa said she’s “absolutely” open to love.
“For me, I really want to date myself,” she explained. “I want to learn things about what I like and only answer to myself because I do feel like I was in such a lost space before I met my ex-husband, which is why I ended up involved in that relationship. I don’t want to repeat history,” the content creator shared.
“I don’t want to be a cynic. I don’t want to be bitter, and I don’t want to move too fast because it feels like, ‘Oh, it has been a long time. You should go ahead and heal,’ but putting this story out there is part of the healing,” Reesa said.
