Slots Still Open for the 25th ‘Uplifting Minds II’ Entertainment Conference’s National Talent Competition April 20 2024

*The 25th annual Baltimore “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference’s National Talent Competition announces several performance slots left for singers, songwriters, dancers, and actors. Held virtually and hosted by radio personality Doresa Harvey (1500Radio.com) the ULMII showcase awards the top three scored performances with the ULMII Best Act Award, and over $20,000 in cash, products, and services. The ULMII Entertainment Conference also offers a panel of industry professionals for a Q&A Session to judge the competition, and a professional showcase of acts from independent labels, management companies and agencies.

The panelists are also sponsors of the conference, and they include Christian radio personality, pastor and author Dr. Winston Grier (“Make Money God’s Way”); Florence LaRue, veteran entertainment performer and original member of the 5th Dimension and author of “Grace In Your Second Act” (WestBow Press); artist manager Michael Ochea, of a Hip-Hop Pop/R&B girl group named MAKO Girls currently promoting single “Ain’t Thinkin’ Bout You” airing its music video on MTV (MAKO Girls Entertainment); artist manager Dr. Kerri Moseley-Hobbs, of a multi-award winning SAG/AFTRA actor and filmmaker (www.Anthony-Michael.com); consul Paul Gardner, II, the founder and general manager of The Gardner Law Group (www.TheGardnerLawGroup.com); Imagination Lunchbox International Film Fests founder Anthony Michael Hobbs, also an award winning actor (Emmy nominated PBS miniseries The Abolitionist) and filmmaker (www.ImaginationLunchbox.com); Billboard chart-topping Jazz guitarist Gregory Goodloe, who has performed for Norman Brown, Shirley Caesar and Michael McDonalds currently promoting his latest single “In This Love” (Hip Jazz Records); Jazz/Soul singer/songwriter Aaron Akins, who has performed on Broadway and is currently promoting his new single “When Do We Love” featuring Wallace and Walter Scott (The Whispers), and Florida based music producer Travone Toles, known in the studio as Hi-Z (10Hz Studio).

Cash, products and services to be awarded to the winners include cash prize from the ULMII foundation ($500 1st, $250 2nd, and $100 3rd); free public relations or business strategy and consult from Dr. Eunice Moseley (Freelance Associates) a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA); free entertainment business contract consult from Consul Paul Gardner, II (www.TheGardnerLawGroup.com); free music track and studio time from multi-award winning music producer V.I.P.
