*Music producer Wack 100 revealed in a new interview that Michael Jackson beat the breaks off late-rapper Tupac Shakur in defense of Quincy Jones’s daughter Kidada Jones.
Wack shared the story to highlight that Tupac’s tough persona in his music and on-screen roles didn’t match his real-life behavior. Although the industry veteran wasn’t present for the incident, he says the person who shared the story is a credible eyewitness.
The King of Pop allegedly “whooped [Pac’s] a**” after he disrespectful comments about Kidada while in Jackson’s presence. Kidada and Pac famously dated in 1996 for four months before he was fatally shot.
“The man spoke on it, he witnessed it,” Wack said in a recent interview on the “Geddy Radio Show, referencing a recent clip posted on the WiLD 94.1 YouTube channel, per Vibe. “Google it, it’s the whole interview. He said that that ni**a [Tupac] was disrespecting Quincy Jones’ daughter. Mike said, ‘I watched that girl grow up’ and flighted him. Whooped him. You think I’m capping?””
Wack’s comments followed new information from the WiLD 94.1 radio host about an alleged altercation between Jackson and Shakur. After Jackson reportedly confronted Shakur over his comments about Kidada, the situation escalated with Shakur verbally reacting, leading to a physical fight in which Jackson ultimately came out on top.
“Michael got the best of Pac,” the WiLD 94.1 host said. “They say it’s because, I mean ‘a,’ Michael’s from Gary [Indiana]. Which Gary has been known to raise some folks who could throw hands. But also he was raised in a family with a lot of abuse.”
He continued, “He was the youngest brother so he had to learn how to fight with his brothers but also had to learn how to take a punch ‘cause he was Joe Jackson’s baby. So, you know…apparently he won the fight.”
