*Joshua Jackson and his estranged wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, have reportedly submitted a list of their assets, debts, and financial documents to process their divorce quickly.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the former couple are nearing a settlement agreement. The actress is also seeking joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter.
We reported earlier that Turner-Smith initially pulled the plug on the marriage and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the filing.
Turner-Smith is not requesting spousal support and noted she and Jackson have a prenuptial agreement in place, according to TMZ. She listed the date of separation as September 13.
Jodi and Joshua met during his 2018 birthday bash and got engaged months later. They were married for four years before sparking breakup rumors in September 2022.
During the height of their relationship, Jackson revealed that Turner-Smith proposed to him on New Year’s Eve.
Jackson, best known for starring on “Dawson’s Creek,” appeared on “The Tonight Show” in 2021 and told host Jimmy Fallon that it was the “Queen & Slim” star who popped the question.
“She asked me, yeah—on New Year’s Eve. We were in Nicaragua. It was very beautiful, incredibly romantic. We were walking down the beach, and she asked me to marry her,” Jackson explained.
“There was like a preamble,” he added, noting, “There was a lead-up to it.”
Jackson admitted that he did not know she would ask him the big question.
“I did not know, but she was quite adamant, and she was right. This is the best choice I ever made,” he said.
Turner-Smith previously revealed she had a teenage crush on her now ex-husband. When asked by W. Magazine who her first love was, she said, “It was Pacey from ‘Dawson’s Creek!’ I was a very young teenager,” she told the outlet.
Jackson has reportedly moved on to “Black Panther” star Lupita Nyong’o.
