The music video is produced by AngelicVoicesMinistry and Likevision and features Brooklyn rapper Asim I.I. (“The Christmas Song”).
The “Why Not” music video tells the story of perseverance, despite life’s challenges. It highlights that through those challenges you should praise God because it could be worse.
AngelicVoicesMusic and Asim I.I. performed the “Why Not” single during the 24th annual Los Angeles “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference, walking away with the ULMII Best Artist Award. Born Vanderbilt Evans, Jr., the Hip-Hop artist is busting with talent winning the Producers Challenge at the Live at Webster Hall competition.
His “Why Not” music video also appeared on Billboards in and around the Bronx, courtesy of his record distributor Symphonic adding the AngelicVoicesMusic hype.
He recently produced “The Christmas Song” by rapper Asim I.I. which features Keisha Martin and the Soyemi Sisters. Asim I.I. is AngelicVoicesMusic’s label mate. This milestone is a testimony to the quality of the music coming from AngelicVoicesMusic, who recently returned to the industry after a 10-year absence. Now that he is back, he is ready with a lot of music to release. He is currently working on finishing his EP “Spiritual Overtones.”
AngelicVoicesMusic is a Bronx native, who is a member of ASCAP. He has his own AVM line of sneakers (AliveShoes.com/brand/AVM) and will soon launch the AVM streaming channel at Tikilive.com (AngelicVoicesMinistryTVNetworks.tikiLive.com) in 2024.
AngelicVoicesMusic’s credits as a music producer is impressive. He worked at Bad Boy Studios (Studio B and C) with up-and-coming artists for a Cypher at the Livewell Network. He used to have a publishing arrangement with CBS Viacom, and Sony Orchard. During a Producers’ Battle AngelicVoicesMusic won by recreating the works of Kurtis Blow, James Brown, and many others from scratch. He is also currently working with the original Spindarella of Salt & Pepper, Latoya Hanson, as music producer for her 2024 project.
