*It’s another Social Heat comin’ atcha right NOW! Regarding the killing of Jordan Neely, a lot of folks are pissed and have said so on social media. They’re demanding justice for Neely as a video showed him being choked to death on a New York City train. The incident was captured by freelance journalist Juan Alberto Vazquez and shared on his Facebook account as he detailed the incident. Vazquez shared that Neely – a Black man – walked onto the train cart at the 2nd Avenue station and yelled, “I don’t have food, I don’t have to drink, I’m fed up… I don’t mind going to jail and getting life in prison.. I’m ready to die.” Vazquez continued to share that he did not seem to want to attack anyone as he yelled out about his situation. However, Neely was then grabbed by the neck by another passenger (a White ex-Marine). The video shows the passenger putting Neely in a headlock as he grasped to be let go. By the end of the nearly four-minute video, Neely is seen no longer moving as his body lies on the floor inside of the train. As we said, scores of people have taken to social media to remember Neely, who was a Michael Jackson impersonator that performed throughout the city, as they demand justice for his death. This boy’s got issues. We’re referring to Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who has been arrested on charges of aggravated sexual battery. The 22-year-old was booked into Johnson County (Kansas) Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. He’s charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery along with an additional fourth count of battery. The arrest stems from a woman’s accusation that Mahomes assaulted her in February. Surveillance video shows the moment Mahomes forcibly kissed the woman while his hands are grasping her neck. (Watch it below.)
A routine traffic stop in LA ended with Heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder being detained. Reports say the windows of the boxer’s Rolls-Royce were unlawfully tinted, and his license plate was obscured which was all LAPD need to stop him. After smelling marijuana, cops searched his vehicle. TMZ sources say Wilder was taken into custody after police found cannabis and a 9mm in the car. Wilder seemingly addressed the incident on Twitter. “I’d rather be safe than sorry. The End.”
Whoo Lawd, what a disheartening story. ☹ The NY Post is reporting that a 20-year-old mother jumped to her death after a violent brawl with her boyfriend that also endangered their infant. The couple (from Colorado) got into a knockdown, drag-out late Tuesday night at the OYO Times Square hotel in NYC, trashing the place as a result. “All hell broke loose in the room,” one source said. The woman, who’s still unidentified, was allegedly “repeatedly” punched by her boyfriend, Tyler Griffin. Police say Griffin, 24, left the mother terribly bruised. The brawl continued into the hallway, when Griffin allegedly yanked his child’s arm “in a forceful manner, causing the infant to tumble down the stairs to the ninth floor.” Good God, that’s horrible.
