Over its six seasons “Snowfall” has chronicled how an off-the-books CIA operation contributed to the destruction rock cocaine leveled upon South Central L.A.
The series finale is titled “The Struggle,” and brings an explosive conclusion to the crime drama. In the dramatic teaser, we see Franklin (Damson Idris) losing it and threatening to “tear it all down.”
If you’ve been watching season 6, you know it’s October 1986 and civil war threatens to destroy the Saint family. Franklin (Damson Idris) is desperate; he’s forced to rob his Aunt Louie (Angela Lewis) and Uncle Jerome (Amin Joseph) after being wiped out by former CIA officer Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson). Meanwhile, Louie has taken over Franklin’s role as Teddy’s sole buyer, undercutting her nephew and creating a competing empire in the process. Yep, ish got real messy. But, in the drug game, it can’t be any other way. The question now is WHO will survive?

Wait. There’s more. Fans of “Snowfall” will be thrilled to learn that a spinoff of the hit series is in the early stages of development at FX. Deadline says word on the street is that if it does happen, the new show would potentially star Gail Bean reprising fan-favorite Wanda.
