*A source close to Rihanna is shutting down reports that the singer inked an agreement with Live Nation for $40 million that would see her tour in 2024 and 2025.
According to Billboard, the insider stated, “no tour has been confirmed for Rihanna.”
Meanwhile, we reported previously that “Rihanna feels her family is now complete” following the birth of her second child, and “it’s something she’s always wanted,” an insider told PEOPLE.
Rihanna, 35, revealed the second pregnancy during her halftime show performance at Super Bowl LVII. A source told PEOPLE at the time that the RiRi was “the happiest she has ever been” as a mom to son RZA, 15 months.
“She loves being a mom, so this is where her mind is at the moment,” the source explained.
Recalling her first months as a new mother, she shared with British Vogue at the time: “Oh, my God, it’s legendary. It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever.”
“You literally try to remember it — and there are photos of my life before — but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because…” she said. “Because it doesn’t matter.”
Rihanna said that motherhood also inspired her to create fashion items for kids.
“You know, I always thought doing kid stuff would be cliché and the obvious thing to do when you have a baby. It’s, like, the obvious next step,” she told ET in a prior interview. “But when I went shopping, that’s when I realized like, OK, maybe I need to start making the stuff that I want my kids to wear because it’s hard! I got my own ideas.”
Rihanna reached a milestone this summer when she became the first woman to have ten songs on Spotify with over 1 billion streams.
As we reported, the Bajan beauty celebrated the milestone on social media, writing “Bad Gal billi…wit no new album…lemme talk my shit ????????????.”
Nicki Minaj had some celebratory words for Rihanna. As Complex reports, the hip-hop star wrote in the comments of the post, “Not Bad Gal billi/Poppin shit like a wheelie/I mean poppin like a pilly, like a really/Man Down ‘cuz she making a killy! SILLY!/Bout to be pushin out a new kid like Gillie/Caribbean girls run it & AWWLLL these btchs know da dilly.”
