*Fans of actor Richard T. Jones are reportedly shocked that he and his wife of over two decades are no longer together.
According to SandraRose.com, fans of the “Why Did I Get Married?” star accused him of cheating on his wife, Nancy Jones. The pair tied the knot in 1996 and share two adult daughters and two young sons. The couple reportedly separated about two years ago and Jones quietly remarried a woman named Kristy.
Jones has been sharing photos of his new wife on his social media pages. In one Instagram post, he wrote: “Kristy Jones blesses my heart daily y’all. Love me some her !!!”
Jones captioned a separate post: “I love my beautiful wife. Thanks for loving me Kris. You’re my heart.”

As Atlanta Black Star reports, Richard’s last post about Nancy was a Mother’s Day tribute in 2020. “TO THE BEST OF THE BEST ON MOTHER’S DAY.. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY NANCY JONES,” he wrote.
The following year, Nancy filed for divorce in March 2021, according to court documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. She pulled the plug after 24 years years of marriage.
The former couple has a court hearing on Dec. 1 related a child support and again on Jan. 25, 2024. According to Atlanta Black Star, the status of Nancy’s divorce petition remains “pending.”
