Vegas Police Release Footage of Keefe D’s Arrest in Tupac Murder Case | WATCH-it-Happen

*Police body cam footage from Duane “Keefe D” Davis‘ arrest is circulating online and shows him compliant with Las Vegas cops during the unexpected encounter.

Davis was detained while walking down a residential street, the video shows, via TMZ. We reported previously via CNN that Davis was arrested Friday in Vegas in connection with the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac ShakurDavis’ wife’s Henderson home was searched in July as part of the ongoing investigation into the shooting.

Shakur was shot and killed while leaving a boxing match on the Las Vegas Strip. His untimely death – the rapper was just 25.

Davis has long placed himself at the scene of the crime, saying he was in the front seat of the white Cadillac that came up beside Shakur’s car when shots rang out from the back seat, killing the musician. The rapper was shot four times and died six days later.

When officers rolled up on Davis last week while he was out for a walk, he made no fuss during the arrest. As the body cam footage shows, he clearly understands why he’s being arrested.

Meanwhile, Suge Knight refuses to testify against Davis, he admitted in a new jailhouse interview with TMZ.

Knight was present during the 1996 shooting and questions the validity of the case against Davis. He is also giving a side-eye to the widely held belief that Davis’s late nephew, Orlando Anderson, killed the late rapper.

“There was only two people in the car, and ‘Pac’s not gonna be able to tell the story, I ain’t gonna tell the story,” Knight said.

“But I tell you this: I never had anything bad to say about Orlando … he wasn’t the shooter,” he added.

Davis, 60, is charged with murdering Pac 27 years after the rapper was gunned down in Las Vegas.

“I’m not going to get on the stand and testify … 1,000% I wouldn’t go,” Knight told TMZ. “I wouldn’t testify, none of that s–t.”

He added, “Nor do I want to see him get arrested.”

“And whatever the circumstances, if he did have involvement or if he didn’t have involvement in anything … I wouldn’t wish someone going to prison on my worst enemy,” Knight said.

“At the end of the day … free Keefe D,” he added.

Knight is serving a 28-year sentence for manslaughter in an unrelated case.
