*(New York, NY) – The Omni-American Future Project, a groundbreaking initiative committed to fighting racism and antisemitism in the United States through the unifying power of music and culture, is proud to unveil Straight Ahead: The Omni-American Podcast. The inaugural episode with Coleman Hughes aired on Thursday and is available on all major platforms.
Straight Ahead features Omni-American Future Project co-directors Greg Thomas and Aryeh Tepper in conversation with leading figures from the arts, academia, business, and politics. By promoting a robust middle path in U.S. society and culture that celebrates human excellence no matter the source, Tepper and Thomas steadfastly oppose those who fuel racism and antisemitism by reducing people to essentialized identities.
In addition to Straight Ahead’s first guest, talented writer and musical artist Coleman Hughes, future participants on the bi-weekly program include world-renowned musician, composer, and artistic and managing director of Jazz at Lincoln Center Wynton Marsalis; best-selling author and thought leader Seth Godin; and economist and public intellectual Glenn Loury, among others.
“We’re looking to explore the harmonious intersection of jazz and Jewish and Black American wisdom, and inspire our listeners with thought-provoking ideas and a musical journey like no other,” Thomas stated.
Tepper said, “The Omni-American Future Project is cultivating a community that celebrates the cultural complement to the civil rights movement — the ‘Omni-American’ tradition with jazz at its core — and is animated by a vision of human excellence that pushes back against the illiberal left and right.”

About the Omni-American Future Project:
The Omni-American Future Project is a collaboration of the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), the American Sephardi Federation (ASF), and the Jazz Leadership Project (JLP).
Greg Thomas of JLP and Aryeh Tepper of ASF serve as co-directors of the initiative, which emphasizes character and culture, not color.
The project’s variation on the nation’s motto, E Pluribus Unum is, “Out of many, one pursuit of civic and cultural excellence.”
