*Former Destiny’s Child member LaTavia Roberson is shooting down longtime rumors that she and LeToya Luckett were ousted from the group because they were dating Jagged Edge members Brandon and Brian Casey.

Roberson set the record straight with Carlos King on the Dec. 5 podcast, Reality with The King. As MadameNoire reports, Carlos discussed the speculation that the twin brothers attempted to poison the teens against manager former manager Mathew Knowles, claiming he “was giving special treatment and high pay to his daughter, Beyoncé, and the group’s other member, Kelly Rowland,” the outlet writes.

“Can’t nobody get in your head unless there’s something to be gotten in your head about,” Roberson responded.

“Me and my relationship had nothing to do with foul play being done. It had nothing to do with my relationship. I’m sick of people trying to say that and pin that on that. It’s ridiculous. It’s ludicrous. [I’m] tired of hearing it,”  she stated, according to MadameNoire.

“First of all, we all had boyfriends. Me and LaToya weren’t the only ones,” she added.

Back in 2019, Knowles accused certain members of Jagged Edge of sexually harassing Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland when they were teenagers.

“Now remember, the girls are minors,” Mathew said. “They’re 16-years-old the guys are 21, 22-years-old… I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé—and I talk about this in the book in detail—saying that they were constantly being harassed by two other members of Jagged Edge. I couldn’t have that.”

Knowles (Beyoncé’s father) made the accusations about when he sat down with VladTV. We reported previously that Knowles claimed that while the girls were just teens on tour with Jagged Edge (composed of Brian Casey, Brandon Casey, Richard Wingo, and Kyle Norman), two of the 20-something-year-old men gave Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland problems.

Casey previously took to his Instagram to accuse Knowles of using the story to sell his memoir at the time.

“One thing I have learned from my 20plus years in this business and it’s always something,” Brian wrote in a 2019 post. “It’s actually funny how far people go to sell something ??‍♂‍lol but I give All Praises To The Most High At all times Shalawam love ones.”
