*Larsa Pippen is defending the 16-year age gap between her and her boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, son of basketball legend Michael Jordan.

“I just feel like we meet somewhere in the middle. Age is just a number, but I think maturity and life experience really dictate the relationship,” Marcus said in a joint interview with Larsa for E! News.

“Everything we do, we have in common. We like the same things, we like to go to the same places. I feel like for us, it’s very natural to be with each other. I don’t really see the age part of it,” Larsa added.

The former spouse of NBA icon Scottie Pippen previously explained that she and Marcus have “a lot of common ground” despite the age difference.

When Larsa appeared on the “Tamron Hall Show,” the host asked, “Even with the age difference? I don’t wanna say that flippantly, because men are able to date people 30 years younger without judgment. But he’s 16 years younger — other than the Bulls, what do you have in common?”

Larsa pointed out… “I’ve dated guys that were a lot older than me. Scottie is 10 years older than me.”

Larsa said she doesn’t “view age as you’re mature or immature. I don’t feel like that determines if you’re mature or not. I feel like if you can drink at 21, then you can go to war at 18. I feel like there are different circumstances that I feel like age doesn’t really determine your level of maturity.”

As The Blast reports, in an upcoming episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, Marcus defends his lady-love against golddigger accusations.

“Yeah, I feel like people try to say Larsa’s a gold digger and she’s after the Jordan money or something,” Marcus explained, noting that Larsa has her “own money.”

Marcus and Larsa launched their podcast, “Separation Anxiety,” to dispel misconceptions about their relationship.

“Us doing this podcast, it really was therapeutic for us. Like, ‘Hey, let’s talk about this,’ or, ‘People want to know about our age gap. Should we talk about that?’ Because we really don’t view age like that,” Larsa explained.

“We’re trying to stand on our own two feet and really establish ourselves both independently but also as a couple,” Marcus shared.
