*Jacky Oh’s cosmetic line sales are soaring since her passing last month.
Several products from her J Nova Collection are in high demand and have sold out, according to representatives from the brand, TMZ reports. The collection is named after Jacky Young Fly’s daughter, Nova. She’s apparently set to be the brand’s new face. Jacky’s family and friends are said to be working overtime to get all the new orders filled, Hot New Hip Hop reports.
Ms. Jacky Oh passed away May 31 at the age of 32 after undergoing a Mommy Makeover in Miami, Sandra Rose reported.
Jacky’s partner, DC Young Fly made a brief statement on Instagram in the days following her death.
“I wasn’t in a rush to post this because I wanted it to be a dream so bad but every hour I’m reminded of reality so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner,” his statement begins. “You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful.”
While her cause of death has not yet been released, we reported on troubling details that are emerging about the surgeon who operated on the “Wild ‘N Out” star.
According to Urban Hollywood 411, Miami-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Zachary Okhah has a history of complaints from patients. One woman claims she was left “mutilated,” after having a procedure done by him, according to Page Six. Jacky Oh (real name was Jacklyn Smith) reportedly visited Okhah for a “mommy makeover.” In a since-deleted Instagram post, Oh shared a picture of herself with Okhah prior to surgery.
The post included the caption, “Getting ready for my mommy makeover with Dr. Zach!! Stay tuned to my YouTube for the full reveal!”
After news of Jacky’s sudden death, social media users pointed to some of the negative reviews the doctor received from patients.
Okhah, known as a liposuction and “BBL specialist,” reportedly filed lawsuits against several of his former clients for disparaging him on the internet, Page Six reported.
