*Deion Sanders secured a sunglasses partnership with Blenders Eyewear last week and pre-orders have already generated $4.5 million in revenue.
As Vibe reports, the deal was inked after Colorado State Rams coach Jay Norvell criticized Sanders for wearing sunglasses during interviews.
“When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and my glasses off,” Norvell said. “That’s what my mother taught me.”
Coach Prime’s Blenders Eyewear deal was announced shortly after Norvell’s remarks, according to Vibe.
The Blenders Eyewear x Coach Prime sunglasses are priced at $67 in honor of the year of Sanders‘ birth, brobibible.com reports. According to a news release, the limited-edition eyewear is inspired by the NFL star, and available on October 12th.

As brobible.com reports, between 65,000 to 70,000 sunglasses have been pre-ordered, according to Chase.
This week, CSU coach Jay Norvell said that he “takes his glasses and hat off” when talking to adults.
