*Insiders claim Cher is not moving forward with her wedding plans with producer Alexander “AE” Edwards.
The singer is said to be pumping the breaks on their romance because her friends believe the boy toy is a threat to her $380 million fortune, RadarOnline.com reports.
“For a while, Cher followed this guy around like a lovesick puppy, but the blinders seem to be coming off,” said an insider. Per Radar, another source said, “Cher’s starting to see Alexander in a different light.”

According to RadarOnline.com, Cher’s friends are concerned over her lavish spending on Edwards, who is 40 years younger than the music star.
Cher and Edwards, 37, are reportedly still together, but she’s slowing down a bit, Radar reports. The legendary entertainer was recently spotted out in Los Angeles and she was not wearing the massive diamond ring that Edwards allegedly gave her. The singer/actress hit up social media in December to post a photo of her bling ring, leaving fans wondering if the couple is engaged.
“THERE R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER,A.E.,” Cher captioned the image on Instagram at the time, noting that Edwards is the one holding the box.
As TMZ reports, Cher hasn’t been married since Gregg Allman, from 1975 to 1979, and before him, she was famously married to Sonny Bono for over ten years. Cher and Edwards allegedly met in September. Late last year, Cher confirmed that she is boo’d up with the music executive, who is best known for being Amber Rose’s baby daddy.
