*Gina Gauthier, the ex-wife of famed megachurch pastor Carlton Pearson, shared a message with his fans amid his battle with terminal cancer.

In a statement on Facebook, Gauthier said Bishop Pearson is “moving toward making his way to the vibration of ‘Well done my good and faithful servant,'” she wrote, The Christian Post reports.

Gauthier added, “People of God, I ask that you prepare your hearts. Prepare to release him such that as he moves through that tunnel toward the light, he can ascend as quickly as possible and not be pulled back into this 3rd dimension realm feeling the pull of those he loved so much. Love lets go.”

Pearson was married to Gauthie from 1993 to 2019, and they have two kids, according to The Christian Post. Her update is over a week after he shared a final message with his followers.

“This will be one of the last times you’ll see me like this,” Pearson said on a live broadcast earlier this month, L.A. Focus News reports. “I may be closing some things out, but I will never close you out in consciousness. I love you and wanted you to hear from my voice how deeply appreciative I am of who you are and that you are.”

According to Pearson’s family, the bishop has a Stage 4 cancerous mass that is “inoperable and fatal.”

In a statement, the family said: “Our dear Carlton was diagnosed with cancer in 2001 and was declared cancer-free shortly thereafter. Just recently, cancer has returned and has been a significant challenge, especially in the last 120 days—Carlton has asked that people pray that he would live out the “full number of his days.”

The family previously announced that Pearson moved to “comfort care.”

Pearson’s 1980s television program on Trinity Broadcasting Network became one of the most-watched shows, and he rose to fame as pastor of the 5,000-member Higher Dimensions Family Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Netflix’s 2018 “Come Sunday” biopic explored his life.
