*Webbies, we have some concerning news to report. Bronny James reportedly went into cardiac arrest during a workout at USC, according to TMZ Sports. Bronny, the son of NBA champion LeBron James, was immediately taken to the hospital after experiencing cardiac arrest during his basketball team’s practice. A spokesperson for the James family told TMZ Sports, “Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. The medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update the media when there is more information.” The spokesperson added, “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.” We pray for Bronny and his family in hopes he fully recovers.
Singer-songwriter and actress Tori Kelly also experienced some health complications. She collapsed while hanging out with friends and was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai hospital, where doctors found blood clots in her legs and lungs. The medical staff continues to assess whether clots around her heart can be found. “The singer’s been in and out of consciousness during her hospitalization,” according to TMZ.

TMZ obtained footage of Quavo, with his wrists in zip ties, being detained and questioned by police because of an alleged yacht robbery that occurred on Sunday. Police authorities were notified by a 911 call about a yacht robbery and told that two men threatened to kill the captain. Drew Findling, the attorney for Quavo, said to TMZ, “To be clear Quavo was NOT mentioned in the police report narrative. Not only was Quavo NOT arrested, he is not even listed as a witness to any alleged dispute. Ultimately, no one on the boat was arrested.” We’ll keep you updated as this story develops.
“Abbott Elementary” star William Stanford Davis took to IG page to show his fans one of his residual checks for .05¢ for work he did on an unnamed show. “I’ve been a screen actor for 35 years. I’ve been in the guild for about 32 years, and I’ll let this speak for itself. This is a residual check.” He continued, “The postage, the paper, everything costs more than that. That’s what they think of us as actors. This is why we’re on strike, on strike for better wages, for better residuals, for a piece of the subscriptions, and to not give into AI. I stand in solidarity with the writers. And we will strike until we get what it is that we need to make a living as actors.” A dang-gone shame, smh. Hollywood needs to do better in so many ways.
