*Azealia Banks took aim at D.C. Young Fly by implying that the death of his late baby mama Jacky Oh was karma for previously making her cry on an episode of “Wild ‘N Out.”
When Banks appeared as a guest on the improv comedy show in 2018, Young Fly made colorist jokes about her. The incident left the artist quite emotional. Banks brought it up recently following the death of Young Fly’s longtime partner, Page Six reports.
“Damn, Dc Young Fly spent years disguising his own deeply rooted hatred of self as jokes pointed at women’s beauty,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Wednesday.
“Because in the end. I won,” Banks added. “I’m happy I cried and moved on. That Jackie o (sic) girl must have been as deeply insecure about herself.”

“Projecting his own feelings about his own ugliness unto women perfectly secure in their own skin,” she posted.
Banks said she cried after being disrespected by D.C. Young Fly and other comedians who mocked her melanin on the MTV show, calling her emotions “pure tears of rage” and “not at all a sign of weakness.”
“Because in the end. I won,” she added. “I’m happy I cried and moved on. That Jackie o (sic) girl must have been as deeply insecure about herself.”
In a follow-up post, Banks wrote … “And ironically, Dead at 32 exactly on my 32nd birthday, May 31st, 2023 in Miami, FL,” she continued. “You n—-s are going to learn to stop f–king with me.”
On Twitter, users were quick to slam the artist. As Page Six reports, one person wrote “Azealia Banks is sick. speaking on someone’s deceased partner because you got your feelings hurt on a staged show 4 years ago is very low.”
Another added, “Azealia Banks literally started with DC Young Fly then got mad when he roasted her back..TO A CRISP. And THIS is why she’s celebrating the death of his child’s mother? Shorty is unwell asf,” added another.
“I don’t believe in cancel culture but let’s go ahead and cancel azealia banks… Anyone who can make such insensitive comments about a man that just lost the love of his life/ mother of his children does not deserve a platform a spotlight or another dime from any one of us,” said another commentator.
Jacky Oh died at age 33 in Miami on May 31 following an alleged botched body enhancement surgery.
