*Nigerian Heiress Abimbola Fernandez wants to start 2024 off with some inspiration. Coming into the holiday season, the star of “African Royale” on The Africa Channel spoke with Chris Yandek and Rob Gill on CYInterview.
During the CYInterview, Ms. Ferandez talked about the importance of financial literacy and estate planning. The daughter of deceased billionaire, Antonio Deinde Fernandez, said financial literacy was not taught to her growing up.
During that discussion, inspirational king Rob Gill shared details about his forthcoming book release “Surviving Success,” focusing on finance. Mr. Gill, in addition to being a mover and shaker in the financial world, is a driving force behind youth basketball in the United States, running EPIC Elite AAU. His book is slated to be released in January 2024. Abimbola said she is looking forward to reading it: “I need a copy of that.”
Focusing on her new show “African Royale,” which just finished its first season on The Africa Channel, Abimbola said the show did authentically capture her:
“They’re filming me and I’m only one way. I’m very, very authentic and I like to just give people an insight as to what life really is like for me because there’s so many preconceived notions, especially when you are coming from the background that I’m coming from. I need to give it to people the way it is. I need them to understand where things really are.”
