*Tia Mowry’s estranged husband Cory Hardrict is requesting legal and physical custody of their two young children Cree, 11, and Cairo, 4.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Cory recently responded to Tia’s divorce filing in Los Angeles Superior Court and he is requesting for the court to withdraw her right to spousal support. He also denies that the reason for their divorce is “irreconcilable differences.”
In October it was reported that Tia filed to end their marriage after 14 years together and in the petition, she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
She told fans, “I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.”

Tia did not list a date of separation in her divorce petition and asked that both she and Cory not be awarded spousal support. She also revealed there is a prenuptial agreement but Cory’s lawyer wants the court to determine “the validity of the prenuptial agreement dated April 14, 2008 and/or that any provisions are unconscionable.”
Meanwhile, Tia recently told paparazzi that she plans on spending the holiday with her ex and their children.
“We are going to be spending the holidays with Cory, which we’re really excited about… with the whole family,” she said.
She continued, “Family is family, no matter what happens. And that’s what’s important to me, so we will always be family.”
