*According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC News network heads of GMA3 pulled co-anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach from the news, health, and lifestyle television show.
President Kim Godwin decided to remove the anchors during a phone conference with ABC’s Monday morning editorial staff on Monday.
“I want to say that while the relationship is not a violation of company policy, I really have taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization,” Godwin said, obtained from a source who was present during the call. “These decisions are not easy, they are not knee jerk, but they are necessary for the brand and for our priority which, you guys know, are all of is — the people here at ABC.”
Godwin also admonished her staff by saying, “I’m asking that we stop the whispering in the hallways,” Godwin continued. “You know, we can’t operate with gossip, and speculation and rumors. We need to stay focused on the work.”

Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos will stand in as anchors for GMA3 replacing Holmes and Robach, The New York Posts reports.
The Daily Mail published pictures of Holmes and Robach’s entanglement early this month, although both reporters have separated from their respective spouses.
