Video: Woman Who Took Selfie While Being Sniffed By Bear Shares the Photo (Watch)

*This woman could’ve easily photographed her violent mauling and slow demise. Instead, her ill-advised selfie, taken at the heart-stopping moment that a black bear approached her and two other women and began sniffing them, was just another selfie – which she has now shared.

A bystander shot video of the women managing to keep their cool and attempting to stand perfectly still as a bear approached them on a popular hiking trail at Chipinque Ecological Park in San Pedro Garza García. Footage showed the bear, perched on its hind legs, approach the group and sniff around.

The animal briefly dropped onto all fours, but suddenly lurched back onto its hind legs again and pressed himself against the woman. That’s when one raised her phone and snapped a selfie with the bear behind her. The animal appeared to give the camera an angle, standing long enough for the picture before dropping back on all fours. Before finally wandering off, he gave the woman’s legs two light swats … probably his way of saying, “Airdrop that to me.”
