*For a while now there’s been talk about a Harriet Tubman film project. Well, the trailer for “Harriet,” the biopic on the historic figure was released earlier today.
“Harriet,” directed by Kasi Lemmons, tells the true story of abolitionist’s escape from slavery and her many missions back to the South to help free other slaves via the Underground Railroad.
Look for “Harriet” to hit theaters on November 1.
