*NFL teams evaluating wide receiver options ahead of training camp are keeping close watch on Stefon Diggs, who has re-entered the market following his recent legal clearance.
Diggs was acquitted earlier this month on assault and strangulation charges, removing a major obstacle to his availability as franchises reassess roster needs before the new season. League reporting from Jason La Canfora indicates multiple contenders are now monitoring his situation, the Daily Mail reports.
One of the teams expected to be involved is the Kansas City Chiefs, who may be without wide receiver Rashee Rice after he was sentenced to 30 days in jail for a probation violation and continues to recover from injury issues. That combination has left the Chiefs exploring potential external additions. Within league circles, Diggs is viewed as a potential fit.

“I think if you’re the Chiefs you have to look at all of these things going forward, because Rashee Rice clearly looks like somebody you have not been able to rely on,” Sports Illustrated NFL insider Albert Breer said.
Before entering free agency, Diggs spent a season with the New England Patriots, where he reached the Super Bowl. His time with the team ended after legal allegations tied to a dispute with a personal chef, though he was later cleared following a two-day trial after pleading not guilty to felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault charges.
Separately, Diggs has also been involved in a civil lawsuit involving allegations of sexual assault, which he has denied. Last year, he fathered three children, including a son with Cardi B.
The wide receiver market remains active as teams finalize preparations for training camp, with Diggs now positioned as one of the most notable available options.
