*Meta is making a direct play for the creators who have been building their audiences elsewhere.
According to CNBC, the company launched the Creator Fast Track program, a new initiative designed to bring established social media stars from TikTok and YouTube over to Facebook by putting guaranteed money on the table from day one.
The payment structure breaks down by audience size. Creators with at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube are eligible for $1,000 a month, while those whose followings have surpassed one million on any of those platforms can collect $3,000 a month. The guaranteed window covers the first three months, after which creators are folded into Facebook’s Content Monetization program and retain their reach boost on an ongoing basis.
Yair Livne, Meta’s vice president of product for Facebook Creators, explained the thinking behind the initiative in a conversation with CNBC. “We have heard from established creators on other platforms … that it can be hard or intimidating to get started,” Livne said. “So this program is really meant to address that need.”

Eligibility requires creators to post at least 15 Reels on Facebook within a 30-day window, distributed across no fewer than 10 separate days. Content does not need to live exclusively on Facebook but must be original to the creator, a standard that extends to AI-generated material as well.
The launch reflects Meta’s ongoing effort to narrow the gap between Facebook’s enormous user base — now exceeding 3 billion — and its historically thin creator presence. The company reported paying nearly $3 billion to creators in 2025, with roughly 60 percent directed toward Reels content.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg previously framed the situation as an opportunity rather than a setback. “I just don’t think that a lot of creators today think about Facebook as the primary place they can go,” he told “The Colin and Samir Show.” “But that itself actually creates this huge arbitrage opportunity.”
