*Campaign finance records obtained by TMZ are revealing how Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett allocated her funds during her unsuccessful Texas Democratic Senate primary run.
Filings covering December 2025 through February 2026 show her campaign brought in $8,577,757.47 in total receipts, with $3,682,885.41 coming from individual contributions, while total expenses reached $5,092,872.38. The campaign also processed $17,297.87 in contribution refunds during that period.
A breakdown of the spending shows over $275,000 directed to a company called True Blue Digital for advertising and more than $200,000 spent on text messaging services. Additional line items included $40,000 on consultants, $20,000 for website services, $10,000 on printing, $6,000 on media production, $1,800 on security, and $1,200 on catering. Crockett closed out the race with $3,484,885.09 remaining in cash on hand.

Her opponent, state Representative James Talarico, operated with significantly deeper pockets. Talarico collected over $20,683,458.89 in receipts and disbursed $15,848,257.94 in expenses, including $1 million directed toward digital fundraising.
Talarico defeated Crockett in the March 3 primary. The race faced some uncertainty around polling close times, requiring the Texas Supreme Court to step in, which led Crockett to announce she was not anticipating results until the next day. By the morning of March 4, with 94% of votes tallied, Talarico led with just under 53% to Crockett’s nearly 46%, per the Associated Press.
Crockett conceded early that morning, saying Texas is “primed to turn blue” and urging fellow Democrats to stay unified, “because this is bigger than any one person.”
