*Just weeks before their planned Italy wedding, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos have ended their engagement. According to Page Six, the split occurred after tensions flared during the couple’s joint pre-wedding parties in the Bahamas, with Ramos reportedly deciding to call off the wedding.
Ramos had previously shared photos from her bachelorette party on Instagram, captioning them: “I truly believe you can get through anything in life as long as you have really great friends. I love these girls so much.” Weeks earlier, she posted that she “can’t wait to marry the love of my life” at the upcoming ceremony. Both posts have since been deleted.
Sources told TMZ that the relationship is beyond repair, and the couple will now focus on co-parenting their daughters, Margaret, 2, and Aurora, 9 months old. Public attention on their relationship began in September 2023, after Ramos was seen at a Cowboys game.
In 2024, Ramos celebrated Prescott becoming the highest-paid NFL player with a $240 million, four-year contract extension. She wrote on Instagram Stories: “The most deserving man and the best partner and father. We love you.” The couple welcomed their first child in February 2024, with Prescott reflecting, “I feel different. When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities. And everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but you want that for somebody else even more.”

Prescott proposed in October 2024, and he described the moment: “I’m super excited… I got the ring a few months ago. She had no idea. She’s a big golfer, thought we were going golfing. I told her that we had a lifetime to golf.”
He also recalled, “I had the ring in a fake golf ball. I dropped it. She almost hit it. I’m just glad she said yes. Super, super blessed and happy. Thankful for this family I’ve started.”
