*A Davidson County judge stripped Dalton Eatherly of his bond in three Nashville cases on June 17, citing a controversial shooting charge against him.
Judge Melissa Blackburn made the call during a hearing connected to a restaurant dispute. She pointed to threatening social media posts made under Eatherly’s online persona, “Chud The Builder.” Dexerto reports. Without the Nashville bond, Eatherly has one less path to release. He is also fighting a separate $1 million bond in Montgomery County after prosecutors accused him of shooting a man outside a courthouse. Together, the two bonds leave him boxed in on both fronts.
That Montgomery County case traces back to May 13, when officers arrested Eatherly after a confrontation escalated and ended in gunfire outside the courthouse. Prosecutors say the encounter left both Eatherly and disabled veteran Joshua Fox injured.

Eatherly faces multiple felony charges, including attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, employing a firearm during a dangerous felony, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. Judge William Goodman III has kept the $1 million bond in place. He also added a curfew, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., as a condition if Eatherly gets out.
Bob’s Steak and Chop, inside the Omni Hotel, was the scene of the May 9 dispute that sparked the legal issues in Nashville. Police say Eatherly ran up a $371.55 bill, then refused to pay when staff asked him to stop livestreaming. An arrest affidavit obtained by The Tennessean says Eatherly turned hostile and made racial remarks once confronted.
Police caught up with him walking along Broadway near 2nd Avenue South and charged him with theft of services, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
At the time of the shooting, Eatherly was out on bond from the Nashville cases. A condition of that release barred him from picking up new charges.
