*After years of ups and downs, Blueface is making amends with his mother Karlissa Saffold. Rolling Out reports the rap star publicly made efforts to make things right via social media, as he used the outlet to acknowledge mistakes he’s made and expressing remorse over allowing past relationships with women to damage the the bond he shares with Safford.
Although Blueface’s efforts are noble, they haven’t gone unnoticed with those who question the timing and motivation surrounding his unexpected reconciliation. The entertainer is currently behind bars serving time.
The olive branch Blueface extended came April 18 via Instagram with Blueface posting a photo a photo from a jail call alongside a screenshot of a message allegedly sent directly to his mother. In the candid note, the rhymesayer confessed to misjudging the loyalty of romantic partners compared to Saffold’s unwavering support.
Blueface, who admitted to allowing femail influences to get in the way of his relationship with Harvey, goes on to acknowledge that hie put his trust in certain women whom he believed loved him more than his mother. It wasn’t until he was behind bars that circumstances gave way to him seeing these women used his locked-up status to their own advantage.
As his message continued, Blueface mentioned his mother being the only woman entitled to be there for him. Putting his creativity in for a purpose, the rhymestar stated ““all the leaves fell off the tree,” a metaphor signifying Blueface returning to his roots with the departure of other women from his life.

Upon seeing what her son posted, Harvey appeared to respond positively with affection, according to Rolling Out. Despite their complicated relationship, the matriarch appeared receptive to Blueface, expressing she loves him more than life itself and acknowledging that love sometimes makes people behave irrationally.
Considering the rocky road traveled by Blue and Harvey with public disagreements involving Blueface’s romantic partners resulting in heated exchanges on social media platforms., the rapper’s apology may be hard to swallow.
The timing of the gesture and Instagram post comes amid personal drama for blueface with his incarceration factoring into the deterioration of his relationships with Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis.
As a result, feedback has been mixed on social media.
Blueface’s motives and the attached cynicism have been the trending side, many users suggest his apology represents no other path to take after the end of other relationships instead of authentic emotional growth.
For what its worth Harvey revealed she and her famous son were “gently” communicating through intermediaries prior to his jail time. In addition, Harvey stated she received expressions of love from Blueface via text messaged, a move she interpreted as a sign he was “finding his way back home.”
