*Zendaya made headlines at the 2025 Golden Globes for sparking engagement rumors after wearing a large ring on her finger.
The actress and her partner, Tom Holland, have not publicly addressed the speculation, but TMZ reported on January 6 that the couple is indeed engaged. During the awards show, Zendaya was seen flashing her engagement ring, which caught the attention of social media. TikTok creator Liz Duff shared clips of Zendaya appearing to show the ring to others, including “The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri, PEOPLE reports.
Zendaya and Holland, who have starred in three “Spider-Man” films together, will continue their on-screen partnership in 2025, working on a fourth “Spider-Man” movie and Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.” Both films are set for release in 2026.
Holland recently told Men’s Health that he chooses not to walk the red carpet alongside Zendaya at her movie premieres “because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
The “Crowded Room” star explained that when he inevitably has children, he plans to quit the movie industry.

“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” Holland said. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”
When Holland appeared on the “Dish” podcast last month, he was asked about acting with Zendaya. “Studios love it. One hotel room. Separate drivers. We’re not crazy now. Listen it’s work, alright?” he said.
“It’s just that perfect thing when you’re on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don’t agree with, or I know that she doesn’t particularly like, and it’s just that, like, familiar glance at each other of like, can’t wait to talk about that later,” Holland added.
Zendaya also gushed about working with Holland in a 2024 interview with Vanity Fair
“It’s actually strangely comfortable. It’s like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him,” she said.
“He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That’s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read,” Zendaya added.
