*Comedian Luenell shared her candid thoughts on Dave Chappelle’s SNL monologue, where he called for compassion as America entered a new chapter under President Trump.
Speaking to TMZ, Luenell expressed skepticism about Chappelle’s plea, arguing that compassion is something the Trump administration has never demonstrated.
“We had Trump standing in front of a church with an upside-down Bible… so this is not a surprise. I expect nothing. I’m not even registering with this administration.”
She added: “This is what people voted for…They voted for an administration filled with hate, racism, misogyny, narcissism, and… this is what we get.”

Elsewhere in the clip, she criticized the timing of Trump’s inauguration on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and shared her opinion on how the civil rights leader would view Trump’s second term if he were alive today.
Luenell also goes off on Elon Musk’s controversial “Nazi salute” at Trump’s inauguration Monday. Watch her full remarks in the clip above.
Meanwhile, several Jewish organizations raised concerns after Musk seemed to perform the one-hand salute during the Presidential Parade. However, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a leading Jewish group known for combating antisemitism, offered a different perspective on the incident.
“It seems that Elon Musk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute,” the ADL wrote Monday in a statement on Musk’s social media platform X, referring to Musk’s outstretched-arm movement that came as he was thanking his supporters.
The ADL added, “In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning.”
Musk replied, “Thanks guys,” adding a laughing emoji.
