*The Washington Commanders have suspended Vice President of Content Rael Enteen after he made inflammatory remarks about players, fans, and NFL executives during a hidden camera interview with O’Keefe Media Group.
CBS News reports that in the video, Enteen accused most NFL players of being homophobic.
“Over 50% of our roster is white religious, and God says, ‘F— the gays.’ Their interpretation. I don’t buy any of that,” Enteen is heard saying. “Another big chunk is low-income African Americans that comes from a community [that] is inherently very homophobic.”
Enteen went on to say that longtime Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hates gays and black people and that Commissioner Roger Goodell is a “$50 million puppet” for NFL owners.
When it comes to NFL fans, Enteen called them “high school-educated alcoholics.”

“We have suspended the employee pending an investigation and will reserve further comment at this time.”
The investigation was quickly concluded, with the team firing him less than 24 hours after announcing the suspension.
